Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Flatbread or Naa
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella, sliced or tor
  • 1 cup Roma or Cherry Tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, chiffonade or whole
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced or sliced
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • Sea Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes, optional

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven.
  2. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet or parchment paper and brush with olive oil.
  3. Spread minced garlic evenly across the flatbreads.
  4. Layer fresh mozzarella slices over the garlic.
  5. Arrange sliced tomatoes on top of the cheese and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  7. Remove from oven and let sit for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Scatter fresh basil leaves over the hot flatbread.
  9. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the flatbread.
  10. Slice into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

Always pat tomatoes dry to prevent sogginess. Use fresh basil at the end for best flavor.
