Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 cup tomatoes (diced)
  • ½ cup black olives (sliced)
  • ¼ cup green onions (sliced)

Method
 

  1. Select a 9x13-inch glass dish or similar shallow serving platter.
  2. Spread refried beans evenly across the bottom of your dish.
  3. Beat together softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the bean layer carefully.
  5. Distribute salsa evenly over the creamy layer, draining excess liquid first.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the salsa.
  7. Layer shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, and green onions on top.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Prepare the base layers ahead and top with fresh components later. For best quality, consume within two days.
