Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined.
  6. Fold in half of the chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and half of the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly into your prepared pan and drop spoonfuls of peanut butter across the surface, swirling gently.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Reese's and chocolate chips over the top and press them gently into the dough.
  9. Bake for 25-28 minutes until the edges turn golden brown and the center looks slightly underdone.
  10. Let the bars cool completely in the pan, then lift them out using the parchment overhang, cut into squares, and serve.
