Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Lean Ground Beef (or Ground Turkey/Chicken)
  • 18-24 Small Corn or Flour Tortillas
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano
  • Red Onion, Cilantro, Radishes, Lime Wedges (as needed)
  • 3 cups Shredded Romaine Lettuce or Cabbage Slaw
  • 3 large Ripe Avocados or Homemade Guacamole
  • 1 cup Cotija Cheese or Shredded Mexican Blend
  • 1.5 cups Pico de Gallo or Roasted Salsa Verde

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of avocado oil.
  2. Crumble the ground beef into the pan and brown thoroughly, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Drain excess fat and add the spice blend with a splash of water or beef broth, simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Chop red onions and soak in cold water for 10 minutes, slice radishes, chop cilantro, and slice limes.
  5. Mash avocados with salt and lime juice to prevent browning.
  6. Warm tortillas over a low gas flame or in a microwave, then keep warm in a towel.
  7. Set up the table with warm tortillas, protein, and toppings for guests to build their tacos.

Notes

Ensure to toast spices before adding to meat for enhanced flavor. Keep tortillas warm for best results.
