Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Prepare a 9x9 inch baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the buffalo sauce until smooth.
- Fold in the ranch or blue cheese dressing and garlic powder.
- Add the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, stirring until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- For a golden finish, turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes, watching closely.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for five minutes before garnishing with fresh green onions.
Notes
Always use room-temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. Grate your own cheese for better melting. Adjust buffalo sauce to taste.
