Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Cooked Chicken (Shredded)
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 Cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing
  • 1.5 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese (grated)
  • 1 Cup Monterey Jack Cheese (grated)
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 3 Stalks Green Onions (thinly sliced)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. Prepare a 9x9 inch baking dish by lightly greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the buffalo sauce until smooth.
  4. Fold in the ranch or blue cheese dressing and garlic powder.
  5. Add the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, stirring until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  9. For a golden finish, turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes, watching closely.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for five minutes before garnishing with fresh green onions.

Notes

Always use room-temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. Grate your own cheese for better melting. Adjust buffalo sauce to taste.
