Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel (8-12 oz) Brie Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts, roughly chopped or kept as halves
  • 2-3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon Orange Zest

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare your baking vessel (small cast-iron skillet or ceramic brie baker).
  3. Score the top of the brie rind in a crosshatch pattern.
  4. Place the brie in your baker and drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over the top.
  5. Sprinkle the walnuts evenly over the honey and press them gently into the cheese.
  6. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is soft to the touch.
  7. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of honey over the top after removing from the oven.
  8. Sprinkle fresh thyme and a pinch of sea salt over the brie.
  9. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
