Ingredients
  

  • 4 plain or whole wheat bagels, sliced in half
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional)
  • Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Slice your bagels in half horizontally and arrange them cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  3. If desired, lightly brush each bagel half with olive oil.
  4. Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce onto each bagel half.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce, followed by a light dusting of Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add your chosen toppings, remembering not to overload them.
  7. Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the top of each bagel pizza.
  8. Bake the bagel pizzas for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

These bagel pizzas can be customized with various sauces, cheeses, and toppings. They can also be made in an air fryer at 375°F for 5-7 minutes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days and reheated in the oven.
